In 2017 the public library was open after a donation from Mr. Nesf Essa Alasfour. This donation was accepted by Kuwait Governmental Ministry Council, it is located in Qadsia and it consists of an auditorium, children reading hall, study area and a private meeting and study rooms, in addition a specialized library of Kuwait history under the name of Nesf AlAsfour is provided. The library is open from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM during the week days.
